"Cadac Citi Chef 40 - design flaw"
I have the Cadac 40 Citi chef, twice the fixings for the handle have melted and come detached from the lid. This is clearly a design fault, grease and oil stay within the bbq, and collect very close to burner, this leads to excessive heat and causes the plastic handle to melt and also the plastic surround to begin smoking. I cannot buy a replacement handle from www cadacuk dot com - Cadac UK have not responded to my email sent 10 days ago on 20-January. Stay clear of this BBQ brand - product and support is inferior to the well established BBQ brands such as Weber.

"Just upgraded my outdoor cooking unit"
Just upgraded my outdoor cooking unit. I was using my old Cadac for over 3 years now while traveling with my campervan and have just upgraded to the newest Cadac Safari Chef. What a blast to cook on! Easy to clean, very light and solid piece of kit. Really nice to share food and make friends while on the road. Definitely going to stick to Cadac!

"Utterly disgraceful service and now…"
Utterly disgraceful service and now being totally ignored by the UK MD. My Cadac double burner caught fire from underneath. Thankfully I never leave gas appliances on their own so a disaster was averted. They have the nerve to want to charge a “discounted” amount to buy a new one from them!! Bearing in mind this one had only been used twice, has been inspected by them after they demanded proof of purchase. Not once have I asked for a refund, just have a working and safe version of my purchase. I have written to their MD, Iain Harris and had no response. There is a principle here and I have no intention of giving up.

"Safari Chef 30- Replacement Electrode"
We have a Safari Chef 30- I bent and damaged the electrode whilst putting it away in the bag. Contacted Customer Services whom initially sent advice sheets on how to bend it back and reposition. I tried that and partially succeeded but it was cracked. As they suggested, contacted CADAC again and they've sent a replacement electrode free of charge. Thank you Cadac, for the excellent customer service.

"We had a faulty lid ( loose rivets) I…"
We had a faulty lid ( loose rivets) I emailed them and within a couplke of days they responed with the news that they had dispatched a new lid. This was accompied with a DHL tracking number due for delivery on Friday past! we stayed in all day .... nothing arrived and not a peep from DHL. Monday still not a peep from DHL and guess what it arrived today Monday!
So Cadac were amazin g a great experiance and we absolutely love our cadac. DHL however did spoil the experiance some what, I know once its in the sytem cadac have little control

"Grillo Chef 2 burner fault"
After owning my Cadac Grillo Chef 2 for about three years a fault that had developed from new got worse to the point it was unusable. I contacted Cadac and despite it being out of warranty they replaced the faulty parts free of charge. I realise that I should have done something about it sooner, but Cadac warranty dept were brilliant.

We bought the cadac2cook3 gas cooker, we bought it on Amazon through purely outdoors, when we received said cooker the badmto store it in was quite badly ripped and unusable so I e-mailed,purely outdoors sent them the,order number and a photo asking what they could do, they said they would get in touch with cadac as they don’t carry spare parts, we received a new bag from cadac this morning and our cadac is neatly stored away for when we have a trip away, thank you very much cadac for the new bad and thanks to purely outdoors for sorting it for us great service from both companies

"The Rolls-Royce of BBQs!!"
I have previously posted a review on Cadac delivery. Here I want to recognise what a fabulous BBQ they produce.
We used our new Cadac Carri Chef 40 yesterday. Fabulous. Looks good, easy to assemble, change accessories, use and pack away.

This is an update on my previous review.
As my views on what constituted as "Cosmetic Blemishes" was far away from that of the customer service department, being very unhappy with the result of my complaint, I decided to turn to trustpilot.
Within a couple of days of writing my review, I was contacted by the customer services department again who told me that they were disappointed that I had turned to trustpilot. I explained that their lack of understanding was a direct result of this.
Only then was I offered to have my meridian 3 bbq collected and a full refund issued. This was done over the next three weeks and I said that I would write an update to state this. I have changed my experience rating from 1 star to 2, purely to reflect this. It is still disappointing though that this only happened because of this review and still, I would not recommend anyone from buying from their "Recycled" section.
