We have been leasing a vehicle with ALD for the last 3yrs. We have had a superb experience with ALD, and just wanted to say thank you-it's been a pleasure having leased a vehicle from them. The customer service has really been excellent, and i think it's only fair to give credit where it's due. Special thanks namely to Paul and Nok who have been dealing with my lastest quieres.
Car has now been booked for collection, but I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Our complaint was with Ford, not ALD. We have leased business vehicles for over 20 years and have always had an excellent deal and customer service.

"ALD demands £300 after my car did an auto update "
I leased a cupra formentor from them on a 3 year deal. 2 days before the car was picked up for collection the cars infotainment system got an automatic unstoppable software update which caused the system to constantly reboot every minute or so. The software was broken and needs fixing. They note that since the software is broken while I had the car that I now need to pay them £300.
I have told them repeatedly to take me to court for that claim and we'll argue Infront of a judge, as while on the phone the operators agree with me it's ridiculous I should pay this they then would always follow up with an email saying that they have confirmed the software is not working so I should have to pay it.
Maybe I should have reprogrammed the car before it being picked up? Maybe I should have grabbed the software update out of the air and stopped it from installing?
ALD are trying to scam me out of money like I'm some little old lady and they're a Predatory corporation.

I see ALD has replied asking for details, I have emailed those details to the email address provided 6 days ago and have had no email response however today another threatening letter simply demanding payment.
ALD lets skip all of this and take me straight to court.
