Valspar emulsion is not as good as it used to be. Marks very easily and does not wipe clean like it used to. Will need to redecorate in 1 year.

I bought Valspar premium wood and metal paint because I needed a colour match for a Wickes emulsion which I had used on the walls. It was as expensive as the premium brands, so I assumed it was a quality product. I was so wrong! This paint is horrible! It is thin and runny and has very poor coverage. It takes a long time to apply and looks awful. It can't be described as eggshell, it's too shiny. I have four floor of landings, doors and skirting boards to paint am so full of regret that I chose this paint.

I bought 2 x 5L from b&q on Friday and after doing 3 coats it’s dried patchy and started to bubble slightly in areas already. Can’t believe the 2 tubs were purchased at the same time yet they have still dried very patchy. Looks like I’m having to re sand and then use a alternative brand which is a real shame as this was just the perfect colour match that the wife wanted too
