0 stars if I could. Target Optical (online and in person) is the WORST optometrist establishment I have ever been to.
Online is a mess internally. They cannot get their sh*t together. It's been almost over a month since I've been waiting for my refund.
In person (at a specific branch I won't call out) is even worse. They help you when they try to make a sale, but when you try to return an item, after they said you have 90 days to return an item, they gaslight and blame everything on the customer and/or other circumstances. They basically leave the customer helpless and stuck in a lose lose situation which I've never experienced before.

"They refuse to replace defective lenses"
In February 2024 I ordered glasses with the Transitions lenses. All seemed well until the winter, during cold weather the lenses started falling out of the frames. This has continued into the warmer weather. I took the glasses to a Target Optical store and they confirmed that the lenses were manufactured too small for the frames. Now Target Optical refuses to do anything about their mistake. Sure, it is over a year. But when they say "There's nothing we can do about it" they are lying. They could fix the problem if they chose to. They just choose to screw the customer rather than fix the problem.

This company sold me glasses and put in the lenses incorrectly. When I brought them back in to be fixed, they told me that they fixed them, but I could see that it wasn't correct and I wanted it fixed correctly. When they said it was the best they could do, I left. Later the lens fell out for no reason and I couldn't find it, and they refused to fix them. They told me I should have paid $125 for insurance. This company have no respectability and no honor of there company. I would never return and would advise people to NEVER EVER bring your business here. I should have known when I went to a store that was in a Target. Liars. No honor. Terrible customer service. Stay away at all chances.

"I really hate that they don’t update…"
I really hate that they don’t update you on the status of your order, I’ve been waiting almost two weeks because of I’ve been out of the city and when I check by logging in online that’s when I read it’s been delivered. They don’t show a estimated day or where it’s at in the shipping progress.

"Go into the store"
Go into the store. They sent me Oakley glasses with the wrong left lens. Went into the store and nobody wanted to help because it’s an online order. Short story I returned the glasses and told another pair would be sent out. Two weeks later I call and they have been returned. Nobody calls or emails you I had to call everytime and they decided to cancel the order. Crazy, still trying to get that refund.

"Crazy story"
I ordered online wanted to wear RX sunglasses, they shipped ontime,but when my target received my order it was just a empty box. I was furious who steals glasses I'm sure there is a thief in the company. I called in and told them about the issue,and the operator was very polite. She told me they would resend them. Not happy that I have to wait another week. Won't be using them again. They really need to investigate this. Also because the Shipping box had a number that wasn't even in service.

"Target optical warranty stinks"
Target optical warranty stinks. I had to return my glasses instead of getting assistance through the warranty. Then, I ordered the pair I needed. The order went fine right up to the point where they charged me for the new order, yet never sent an email reflecting the purchase. The purchase also is not showing on the site. Secondly, I tried to email using both of my emails and neither would let me send the email regarding the issue and they close on Eastern time.

"Best online shopping experience "
This was my first time using an online option for prescription glasses. The selection of name brand frames is amazing. I picked Oakley frames and lenses with Transitions. I was a little nervous about the placement of my progressive lenses without a measurement but these are hands down the best glasses I have ever owned. Customer service is amazing as well.

"Target Optical Online has been the…"
Target Optical Online has been the absolute worst experience when purchasing glasses I've ever been through. It all started back in December 2024. We had unused FSA money to spend, so my wife and I ordered the Ray-Ban Meta's. She ordered hers in-store, and I ordered mine online. My wife received hers within a week of placing her order, although when I placed my order online, the estimated delivery date was within 7 days of placing the order. After two weeks of waiting, I called the online support line. I was told they were in process and would be shipped out soon, but that was not the case. After another two weeks I called, again, but this time I was told my frames were out of stock and that's why it was taking so long. I was told it wouldn't be too much longer. I called back one last time and was told it's a waiting game now. The rep ended up giving me a voucher for a few pairs of glasses to make up for the "misunderstanding".
Now this brings me to writing this review... I went to Target Optical Online and ordered 3 pairs of glasses, one pair for my wife and a pair of glasses and sunglasses for myself. My wife's glasses came in within 5 days... mine were still in processing. I called, again, to find out what's going on with mine and to cancel the glasses I ordered because I found they would not fit. They had no problem doing that since mine were not even started, yet. I told them I still wanted the sunglasses and just to cancel the glasses. They confirmed the glasses order was canceled and the sunglasses were still in the process of being completed. It's now been 3 weeks since my order was placed, I called yesterday to finally be told that my sunglasses were placed on hold for some reason and they have to get IT involved to figure out the issue. I requested that they just cancel the order and place a new order, but I was informed that was not possible. So now I have to wait for IT to figure out what's going on and then still have them finish my order.
Target Optical is terrible, 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND. Their customer service is sub-par (that's me being nice). Stay away from their online store, only go to the onsite Target Optical teams. They are much better and seem to have much fewer issues.

I went to the target in the Springfield Mall, and I can’t say enough about this place ! Great service, great staff and a wonderful experience!!!
I found my new home for glasses!!!
