I had two Solidors installed over 11 years ago and they have proved to be first class and admired by many. Inevitably the back door, which is used the most, required some minor maintenance. The outer threshold gasket had split in a couple of places and the Q-lon draft excluder had a small slit where the key fob had caught when locking/unlocking. I contacted Solidor for advice about the cost of supplying replacements for self fitting. The efficient Caitlin contacted me to say a replacement gasket and excluder would be sent by next day courier and there would be no charge. Now that is first class service and deserves high praise and special mention. Well done - and than you

He kept me up date with the progress and the warranty claim was sorted out very quickly. This was after getting no help at all from the retailer Target Windows

4th September-still no feedback from Solidor, despite assurances of a prompt reponse.
Door under guarantee not being covered ….no feedback from Solidor so far since original review in June..
We were assured on the 21st June that the problems we have encountered with our door as outlined below would be looked into straightaway.
Unfortunately, we have heard nothing from the team assigned this,having sent all the necessary documentation as requested.We have sent email chasers and receive polite responses and apologies advising it's with a team but nothing further. So very unsatisfactory, we are left dangling with a door which isn't fit for purpose.
Our door which is under guarantee has become discoloured in part. We have liaised with the company we purchased it from, and they in turn have reported this to Solidor, who maintain that the door has been wiped with something to cause this discolouration and as such is not covered by the guarantee.
We have only ever wiped the door with soap and water in keeping with the manufacturers guidance.
Starlings ,nesting above the door have pooped on it at times.
Given above we are not satisfied with this outcome and wonder if someone else at Solidor can help us.
This has happened after having several other problems with the door, water leaking through the door, and being accused of causing this, not so, which was eventually resolved after a long drawn out period. Lock becoming stuck on more than one occasion.
The door is not fit for purpose,it was costly and we are elderly people, and do not like being accused of not caring for the door properly.

"Creaking Front Door"
Can you please contact me reference my creaking front door. We have had this issue since the triple front door was installed 4 years ago.
I have completed an online contact form with no response.
I wrote a review for the exact same issue last year - 16th September 2023 Ref : SSTP305
We have had the same engineer come out twice over the past 2 years to try & fix the problem , however , this clearly hasn’t worked.
