My dad changed to viewqwest from singtel, simply because it was cheaper, but in the end he used peanuts, and he got a monkey.
Even simple pages to load like wikipedia pages, google search, etc took about half a minute to load, internet was cut off constantly and having to reconnect again and again, my ping in all online games shot up to 1000+, making them completely unplayable. Vids now have an infinite buffer time as well. VQ is also not a new internet service provider, and other newer internet service providers like MyRepublic have a better reputation. VQ servers also get bugs very frequently, leading to poor internet service. VQ also has an empty promise of having good internet speed If u want a decent internet service, go for Singtel/MyRepublic/Starhub.

I have been a fan of viewqwest residential plan for years now. months ago i started a lan shop and got viewqwest sme fiber plan. to my dismay, they do maintainence around 2am on a weekend and not having backup, hence we get cutoff from the net. my shop operates 24 hr and in 5 months they have had 4 maintence and leaving me hanging. the account manager told me that viewqwest promise 99.9% uptime and not 100% and they dont allow me to downgrade my 1gbps plan so that i can get another service provider.

Great .. I visited Singapore and used the Internet from a coffee shop while eating. I was totally amazed with the speed. I asked the waiter what's the internet connection used on their WiFi and they told me it's from Viewqwest. Keep up the consistent connection.

"Unprofessional and unethical"
Take it or leave it kind of attitude. Focused on only binding a contract, all other issues to iron out later but not without fights and rude replies and threats to complain to CASE. I chose Viewqwest corporate for SME because of their no limit on international bandwidth. MyRepublic has it too and I will be considering to take it up soon as I serve my advance Notice To Terminate. ViewQwest is only after quick sales. Not interested in the client.

Horrible experience with viewqwest. Dishonest salespeople who are more interested in arguing than genuine customer concerns. Totally unacceptable misappropriation of customer deposit for charges that they make up as they go along. Ask for your money back-this being after they have levied numerous bogus charges against you- and you get no help, no returned messages, nothing. So frustrated in the end I referred them to CASE in Singapore.

"New Installation Problems"
View quest came to install the new OTN/router yesterday evening. However, they failed to test if the internet connection is stable.
After wasting 2 hours of my time yesterday trying to troubleshoot the problem with technicians , the problem persist.
Firstly, this is a NEW SETUP and I should not be troubleshoot a NEW SETUP ISSUE.
Secondly, the last technician promise to call back after 10 mins and DID NOT.
Thirdly, I have call the customer service the next morning and ask for a technician to come down and fix or replace the router BUT NO REPLY the whole day.
I am quite disappointed with the view quest installation. I have previous experience with starhub and current Singtel and did not face a new installation problem although i have issues with internet connections with both as well in the past.
Hence, i may be unlucky to get a faulty box but the responsibility of ensuring the box is WORKING should be view quest and not me. I have given them the ultimatum, either send someone or I will cancel and raise formal compliant.
Lets see how they respond

"ViewQwest Singapore Sucks!"
This company is claiming to be the fastest but after 1 month of subscription they have capped my speed, I am on 300MBPS and I am getting 1mbs MAX download when I was getting 3MBS before and 6MBS upload I mean transfer rate, then suddenly 200KBS and now 170kbps awesome, if they are claiming to be not capping or shaping or using transparent proxy why am I getting this speed, It can be a malware or something but I have used 3 different computers bought a new laptop change cables, change router and still the same! Well I am not to bragging but my wife and I are network engineers, programmers, We worked in networks and we are aware of possible issues in which we have tried everything to fix that may caused the slowness, I have contacted their support many times and they promised to call me back but no avail! I sent an email to cancel their service and not bill me in advance but they still did! What a sucker. I do not recommend this ISP

"Overall a good experience"
Very satisfied when the internet service is running smoothly.
However there have been connection issues since signing up but hopefully it won't be frequent.
On a side note the WDTV box is very disappointing after finally receiving it. I understand it's supposedly "free" but it's quite useless to be honest. The interface is laggy, WIFI seems poor and the picture at least for my box malfunctions with HDMI. Thank goodness I own a media console to see the difference in performance (PS3).
Overall though I am very happy with ViewQwest: the primary internet connection, VPN and customer services are top notch (most notably customer rep: Jenni Bagabaldo) and I could well envision myself being a long term customer.

"One in a million !"
I have a few thoughs before signing up but after reading a few reviews from the forums i took the risk and sign up the Raptor 200 + IPTV + Onevoice + FreedomVPN. Installation was handled smoothly by their excellent technician, Took less then 15 min to get the service up. Speedtest before he went off to make sure everything alright, He wasn't rushing through like those "Big 3 camp" After a week of usage their VPN went down but i was keep up to date via Forum, Email and Phonecall. They actually call you again to tell you that their VPN is up and running and whether i am still having probkems accessing a not.
Final conclusion
Their Network Operation Centre (NOC) is quick and top notch
Their Fibre speed always burst 20mbps more then what you subscribe
They give you static IP for free
They give you Media Player for their IPTV for free
They give you speedboost during selected timing for free
WHAT ELSE WOULD YOU WANT ? Come and join them now !
Recommending this ViewQwest to everybody whose signing up or jumping from other telco !

a. Performance generally good though not fantastic. Testing the download and upload at different parts of the day, good for most of the time.
b. 2 outages within 2 weeks though fixing it is fast. Reason backend changes. In the first place, backend changes shouldn't affect client or at least validate it does not impact client.
c. Customer service needs to improve. Wrong billing and when contacted, bouncing call to different party. No single point of owning the issue.
d. Given the issues and contacts experience so far, it doesn't warranty the high premium paid compare to other providers.
e. Poor to extremely low technical competency staff to resolve issue. Internet could be down with more than 12 hours without resolution.
