No choice I have to at least click at 1 star to rate and give my review about Viewqwest services. Given a choice and in my opinion, they probably don't even deserve a star.
I have been with Viewqwest for at least the past 6 or 7 years. For a start, they are extremely good with almost dedicated bandwidth feeling to me but throughout the following years', things turn southward. Probably due to more and more users getting on board to Viewqwest and they are not increasing their infrastructure setup proportionally to maintain the same service speed that I used to enjoy.
Though in my last renewal, I have optioned for a lower fee scheme with the same bandwidth but I do still experience deteriorating internet accessing speed.
I bet till this contract ends I would definitely do a switch to another ISP. So long Viewqwest and thank you for not being appreciative of your existing customer.

"Tool for payment"
They launched new tool to pay for service, which doesn’t work. Basically you just need to add credit card and it supposed to charge automatically, but it doesn’t.
So they keep sending emails stating the debt and requesting to add a card to their tool - and they do not even check. It took 4 month for them to understand that tool doesn’t work; and at the end the disconnected internet for me because of the debt. To reactivate I need now to do private transfer to their bank account - and I cannot do it because the bank account they sent to me has mistake.

"Repetitive Incidents"
1. Horrible service lapses for home and business plan.
2. Their agreement did not state start or end date so I cannot terminate on time.
3. Their Account Manager took weeks to reply with useless apology.
4. Their Account Manager shows no interest in my feedback and quickly ended the call.
5. Their support hanged up my call during the long down time.
X. After changing to competitor, zero problem.

"I have no problem with the internet"
I have no problem with the internet. It is quite stable and fast but their service is horrible and they are very unethical. I signed a 2 year contract with them in 2014 and when the contract is about to expire, they did not send any email, sms, letter or call me to ask if i want to renew my contract. Instead, they just charged my credit card for 2 more month with a new and more expensive monthly subscription fees. When i realised that my contract has expired and i told them that i don't intend to continued with ViewQwest, they refused to refund me the 2 monthly subscription fees they illegally charged on my credit card without my permission. As i did not sign any new contract with them, they have no right to charge me.
Eventually, i have not choice but to sign another 2 years with them. Now, i am on my fifth year with ViewQwest and my contract will expire next month, so i wrote to ViewQwest informing them i am not going to renew my contract and they told me that i need to return to their office the modem including the yellow fibre optics cable which are both 5 years old!!! What kind of cheapskate company is this?? The other telcos do not do that, they even upgrade you modern when you renew your contract with them and when you contract expired they don't ask you to return your modern back to their office, because it is such a cheap piece of equipment.
ViewQwest even warn me if i don't return the modem and cable by the contract expiry date, they will charge me another month of subscription fees even if i have already switch over to another telco.
Unlike other telco, the monthly invoice that ViewQwest sends you does not show the date you sign up and the date your contract expires, so subscriber will easily overlooked when their contract expires. Shady business tactic!

Subscribe since 2018 for their internet and one voice.
Their one voice never works, paid for 6 mths and they refused to refund and terminate.
Now their internet speed only 70-80mbps when i sign for the plan 1gbps. Their technician cannot resolve on site and say will escalate to upper level. One day later received their email say their decision is final and will not do anything about it!

Best part is telling me that if I signed before Jan 2017 there will be a disconnection fee. However, the new contract price bundled in the disconnection fee when I'm actually paying higher than the new price. That's so rubbish. Plus the sales person is like hungry for sales and didn't go through all details of the terms and condition. only mention if terminate early there will be a charges (which I agree to that).

"Worst company ever !"
Worst support ever! Incident either never solve or you have to wait for hours (Down time). Btw, my plan is 2Gbps but I'm only getting less than 100 Mbps (checked with speedtest.net). Check with the technical team but nothing was solved. Want to terminate the contract but was informed that you have to pay for the payment until the end of the contract + 100 plus disconnection fees! I will not recommend Viewqwest to anyone! If you doubt my review, you may like to look at their FB which they have removed all negative comments which conclude of > 80% of total people commented. GG

"Bad experience"
Agree with most of the reviews. VQ’s service is just plain horrible. Despite all the hype about being small and nimble and able to service their customers better, blah blah blah ... VQ is the worst I have experienced.
