"ZERO!!!"

I would give them a zero if allowed.
This used to be a decent way to deal with low level medical issues. However the last couple of visits have been terrible. I basically paid for nothing and had to go to urgent care directly after, pay again and then receive the antibiotics/steroids necessary as I have chronic bronchitis. When you get bronchitis an average of two times a year for over 30 years, you know your lungs well. I also know if it goes untreated past where I currently am it will put me down for at least two weeks. The doctor stated that tele-doctors are restricted on prescriptions. If I was asking for opioids I might accept that response, but I only need my 10 day regiment of Augmentin and an oral steroid. If our old records were there for him to review, he would see my bi-annual fight with bronchitis. Pretty much the only time I am issued medication. Sorry if I fail to see this as excessive!! I will never utilize this platform again. I refuse to keep paying to be told that I should take an expectorant when I know that only prolongs my issues. I will stick to local urgent care vs. the useless platform this has become. I used to recommend it to other people, but going forward that will be a hard no.

"Great providers, awful service"

First off there are some great providers on this app. However, since their update in Jan 2024 the app has been complete crap. My first 2 visits I got a message I wouldn’t be billed until insurance was billed. However, instead I was billed immediately after the visit despite a $0 co-pay. 2.5 weeks later and I still don’t have a refund despite calling and starting a case the next day. They have nice customer service people but they don’t seem to be able to actually do anything to help. So disappointing.

"Mcdonalds for healthcare"

I'm not sure how their business model is viable. I've seen 5 providers so far and the experience has frankly been terrible. The first time, the provider couldn't see me, but I still got charged a $40 no-show fee. Another provider (Gergana Dimitrova) didn't even show up to the appointment... still waiting to see if they're gonna try to charge me again. You'll get a better healthcare experience by going to McDonalds tbh.

"Great company"

Great company. My mom and I both have Anthem and telehealth through LiveHealth came included. She used it to refill her blood pressure med when it ran out and she was assigned a new pcp that didn’t have appointments open for months. I used it to get a rx for tretinoin for my acne. It did require a prior authorization though which LiveHealth provides a number to contact for help getting. So I haven’t actually gotten the tretinoin filled yet but they took down my insurance info and told me they would email me as well as notify my pharmacy with updates.

"The new interface is the worst change I've seen"

Add me to the chorus of people complaining about the new site. The change is awful! ALL previous correspondence I've had with my doctors is GONE. All emails, messages, etc are unretrievable in this new interface. They're response -- sorry for the inconvenience. 3 years of history ERASED. and it's not like I have a back up in my own emails as they were contained entirely within the site. I also had to re-enter all my information all over again. It's obvious they made changes to the backend and someone or something broke stuff.

I've used the site in the past and loved it. I found my current doctor and therapist on the site. This website change is just the worst though. The interface is terrible and if I didn't have to use it for my current providers, I'd have dropped it immediately.

"Scheduled a 3pm appointment for today"

Scheduled a 3pm appointment for today, 10 days ago. The appointment was confirmed. Today I get an email AND a text, reminding me and reconfirming the appointment. 3pm rolls around and no text or email with a link. I sign into the app and it's like I never had an appointment scheduled to begin with. Apparently they don't even tell you now when they've cancelled your appointment. Wish I could rate the service lower.

"This app was so good last year but the update made it worse!"

This app was so good last year! You use to get to look through doctors and pick which doctor you wanted to see. I had a regular doctor I liked. Unfortunately today I had to update the app, suddenly my insurance wasn't covering the visit AND it just picks a doctor for you. The doctors I've picked in the past were kind and great. The doctor they picked for me was not helpful and it was a waste of money in my opinion. I wish they would go back to how it use to be. Terrible update!

"Used to be great"

Used to be great. My mother and I would both use this service instead of going out and infecting others. Her last appointment and mine both sucked. It took her three hours to get into an appointment. When she finally did, the doctor refused to listen to her symptoms, told her to quit smoking, and use a neti pot instead of any decongestant.

Well I caught whatever she had a week later. I chalked up her experience as a one off, and called in. I was seen right away by a doctor who didn't ask me any questions, but instead told me about how the " little soldiers in my blood" were fighting a hard battle and I had to help them by not taking any over the counter fever reducer or decongestant other than plain Claritin. Which I already had tried. I told him and got a lecture about how we don't need to stop the " little engineers in the lungs" to stop making mucus of the "honored dead" soldiers.

I wish I were making this up. Ended up going to local urgent care who prescribed a cough suppressant so I could sleep, since I was coughing so hard I was throwing up.

"LiveHealth Online violated HIPAA laws"

LiveHealth Online violated HIPAA laws by emailing me my consultation notes that included my name, DOB, gender, provider notes and diagnosis on 1/1/2024. I’m considering a class action lawsuit against LiveHealth Online and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield as well as their parent company.

"I haI had the same horrible experience as previous posters."

I had the same experience as previous posters. My provider set up a follow-up appt for Jan 7th regarding meds she prescribed for my neuropathy. I logged in and saw that the entire app had changed and I had to re-enter all my info. Then i was told “you are connected” and to wait for “participants”, which was odd. I waited for over an hour and a half but meanwhile called the number for customer service. I was told no one was coming to my appt and I’d have to make another appt. Ok, i did that and after 30 minutes a doctor appeared and asked what he could do for me. I explained what happened and he said he would contact my provider and ended the session. Obviously he never contacted my provider because i wasn’t contacted. My scripts need to be refilled and i have no way of contacting my provider, who i really liked. The list of doctors is gone, my messages are gone and i have to find another telehealth service as i won’t be using LiveHealth again.
