Actually paid out! The only hassle was my urgent care uses Physician Assistants and they require an actual physician's signature. Easily resolved by my urgent care having the supervising physician sign.

Bought travel insurance for a house rental in San Diego. When our trip was cancelled by the property company citing COVID concerns, we filed a claim with RedSky who promptly, and without any clarifying questions to us, cancelled our claim. We had no recourse and lost thousands of dollars.
Like any insurance company, Red Sky Insurance will give you “reasons” why they don’t cover your claim. In the end, if insurance companies do not actually “insure” you and your situation, it’s like a boat with a hole in it. It won’t accomplish what you had hoped.

"Very Efficient and Satisfied.…"
Although the insurance form was very long, the hard part was asking our doctor to fill out the form during the time when she was extremely busy fighting the pandemic. Once the form was sent in to Red Sky, they immediately responded they had received the form and continued to list the status within their company.
Approval was given and we did receive the check within seven days even during the heavy Christmas mailing period. We are very grateful that we took out the insurance. We had to use it due to my COPD condition and the spread of Covid.

just wanted to say, thank you Red Sky for honoring my claim when my wife had to undergo surgery, which kept us from taking our vacation in early December. I want to give a special thanks to Monica who kept us appraised of progress throughout, and the one time I did call, she personally took the call and answered my questions and went on to do diligent legwork to verify our claim. I am truly happy with the work Monica did, and happy with the company. I would use this company again!

Thank you for a great experience. I filed a claim to have my ski pass refunded.
Connor in your office was my contact. When I called twice he actually answered the phone! I could talk to a human instead of endless prompts! Connor was friendly, knowledgeable and answered all my questions. When I explained to him i had to make a quick decision whether to defer my pass or wait on the refund he immediately contacted your claims adjuster while I was on the phone and told me I would be contacted the next day with your decision. Next day I received an email with all the information on my approved claim. I had the refund money in my account within 3 days. I would highly recommend your company to anyone based on my experience. This coverage provided exactly what was expected. No bad surprises. I actually had a claim - process was smooth. Documentation requested made sense and examiner was prompt. I was actually shocked at how fast the claim processed. Well organized company. Communication was great. Highly recommend.

We were forced to cancel our Florida beach vacation due to serious illness. We submitted our claim, forwarded the requested Physician’s Statement, and received a full refund (less the insurance premium, of course) all within a month or so. Also, their Customer Service Folks could not have been more courteous and helpful. All in all, I was extremely satisfied. We rebooked our Florida vacation for 2022 and you can be certain I happily bought the Travel Insurance. Thank you Red Sky!

I give 3 stars because of the hassle I had to go thru to prove how UNSAFE & how we could have had loss of life, even with everyone in the US who watch the weather & know where devastation of hurricanes have passed thru & it doesn't happen in just a day as hurricanes continue to devastate as they flood, etc for days. I felt it took way to long from filing our claim & all the documentation we had to retrieve on the path of the hurricane & our travel path to get this claim settled. THIS WAS TRULY EXHAUSTING!! To Red Sky, please don't put others thru this lengthy process when insurance companies collect millions in premiums, as we buy, counting on your company to help keep our families safe if we need to file a claim, as we needed to this time, in order for us to be safe & the sadness & unhappiness of our family not being able to take our trip.
