This company is a *total scam*. They took $1000 upfront from me and never delivered a service, all while providing rude customer service and false promises. I’m out $1000 and my fridge is still broken. Please avoid *A Team Appliance Repair* at all costs. They are unprofessional, dishonest, and *fraudulent*.

Do yourself a favour and check all repair companies on this website before calling. Wish I thought to do that. This company is a complete scam charging $290 for labour without even doing anything. They walked into my house and immediately stated the visit was cost 290. Before they even diagnosed the issue. Once he discovered the problem (which took less than 10 min) he charged me $250 for the parts to fix my dryer. This included a belt of rubber and a small plastic pulley. Turned out those exact same parts came as a package on Amazon for TWENTY DOLLARS. I would have been better off searching up a YouTube video to replace the parts myself. The mark up is a total scam. I emailed them to communicate my disappointment and they replied with a generic and dismissive response. I replied again asking for clarification on how they justify such a huge mark up. I’d be surprised if I even get another response.

"SCAMMERS DON'T TRUST"

Total lies, even admitted in my last email they don't use OEM parts SCAMMERS ! I wish I would have checked the BBB first.. After paying $1027.17 the parts they replaced {the original parts that where working just fine.} I told them what part was not working. I checked with Samsung and the parts combined with the pump, water sensor, and main control panel would be about $500..I paid $589.00 for parts thinking I was getting all the parts to repair the washing machine. After paying immediately and waiting 5 weeks tomorrow and no working wash machine they want me to pay another $509.13 for the part I said was not working in every conversation with them. They will not refund the money for the parts [ pump and sensor]because they installed them, I phoned 45 minutes after the service and asked for my original parts back because they worked just fine. They said that the parts where already disposed of..I told them to come back and remove their parts and refund me the cost of the parts. OMG The washing machine ran for 16 minutes and the parts they replaced didn't even get used because they didn't replace the control board and the washer does not work.. I should have known when the service man could not wait to see if it completed a cycle.. he already knew it wouldn't that's why he left a quote for another $509.13... TOTAL SCAMMERS ! SAW A SENOIR AND FIGURED I WAS AN EASY TARGET. WELL OFF TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT I GO !

"Stay away from this company"

I hired this company to diagnose a fridge that wasn't working. The "technician" vacuumed the vent of the fridge and told my tenant it would work fine in 5 to 6 hours. Of course he didn't but he charged a ridiculous price for doing nothing. When I pressed the company to ask about their labour rates they said it was up to the technician. I was told the technician would call me...I'm still waiting. I've since read similar reviews...stay away from this company it will rip you off.

I had a very disappointing experience. On the phone, it was $80, they charged $280 for apparently service maintenance, labor cost. the company charged over three times the actual price of a part, $173 for a genuine $50 part. It borders a scam.

"Tech stole my washer parts to ensure a leak"

Had a tech come in to diagnose a leak in my washer. On the phone they told me it would cost $80 but when he arrived he charged me $280 noting the nature of checking the whole system. He then quoted me almost $500 to replace the gasket...a part that costs $132 directly from the manufacturer. I refused and just told him to resemble everything and leave. After he left, I discovered he stole several screws and my boot spring from the washer which essentially ensures a leak. Called the company, emailed them with photo evidence... they told me I signed off on everything being left OK... which it wasn't and I never signed. They offered me nothing to rectify my issue and I now have a washer in worse condition than before.

This company is a scam, a bunch of con artists and I later discovered they have a history of tons of stories like mine as well as lawsuits against them from the Ontario government for consumer malpractice. Look up the story that was done on this business by city news... it's unreal. I'm lucky I only lost a few hundred dollars and not thousands like most people.

When I called this company about my broken dryer they told me that it will cost me $80 to find a problem. When the technician came and took our dryer apart, he told me that to understand the reason behind the break, I have to pay $280. When I told him that the price to find the problem was originally quoted at $80, he refused to reassemble dryer back and left it disassembled. I would not recommend engaging this company for any issues

"Warning Do Not Use this Company"

I left a one star review on their website and they posted it as 5 stars!!! The review was a bad one stating that they are criminals and deserve a zero. I wish I had read reviews on this site before calling them. They have not fixed my dryer after 4 visits in 2 months!!! Customer service and technicians are completely useless. Had to go buy a new dryer after giving them $600 for nothing.

"Worst Service Ever"

Worst Service Ever — Scammers!

This is hands down the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. My washer door wouldn’t unlock — a simple issue that I later learned only required a lock replacement. I called this company, expecting professional service. What I got was a complete nightmare.

The first technician showed up, barely looked at the machine, and immediately claimed the “main board” needed replacing. No diagnostics, no effort — just a quick judgment that would cost me way more. He said he’d order the part and come back by Tuesday or Wednesday. Spoiler alert: He never did.

After calling the company multiple times (and dealing with rude, unhelpful staff), the tech finally showed up days later. He replaced the main board — but when we turned on the washer, it made horrible, loud noises like it was falling apart. The tech then claimed it was because the door lock wasn’t reconnected properly. He tried to fix it but broke a piece in the process. He promised to return with the new part on Monday. Surprise, surprise — he never came back.

We called every single day. The company gave us excuse after excuse, and the staff became increasingly rude. No one ever followed up. They took $365 upfront and vanished.

Out of desperation, I hired a different, reputable company. Their technician inspected the washer and was appalled. He found cut wires and said the main board was not even installed correctly — the machine was beyond repair. What should have been a quick, affordable fix turned into a total loss. Now I’m stuck buying a brand-new washer for over $1,000 — all because this company butchered mine.

Save yourself the money, time, and stress. Do NOT trust this company. They are scammers and completely incompetent.
