I would give zero stars to them if I could. I called them to fix my fridge a couple weeks ago. $280 for labour which is ridiculous before a proper diagnose. $230 for a relay chip on the main circuit. All this wouldn't have hurt as much if my fridge actually worked after but it didn't. Damage was $577 after tax and my fridge cooling got worse after they left. Do not use these guys they only accept cash and debit because they know they don't know what they are doing. They make it impossible to get a refund even tho you are practically paying for nothing. I called them several times they refuse to give a refund. They were ready immediatly when I called for a fix to take your money. But to come back to fix their mistake which they admin they made they take several days. Their fast service claim on their website is bullshit. Their reviews on their website are probably fake. I wish i saw so many bad reviews on other websites sooner. I ended up having to buy a new fridge. Something I should done in the first place its not worth it.

They came to fix a refrigerator and charged my mom for a repair that did not fix the problem. Charged us a total of $300. They call themselves the A-team. Please if they even preached the moto of the real A-team's quote, "If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them... maybe you can hire... The A-Team." They are more of the F-team! They hang up on you when you complain. So easily to take advantage of an immigrant mother. How do you charge for something you didn't fix!

"Technician is rude and violent"

The technician left my house a few minutes ago and I got nothing but bad experiences.

He was super rude, was on the phone the whole time and barely even looked at me or talked to me.
My problem was that the microwave plate was not turning. All he did was put something in the microwave and turn it on, to see it was indeed not turning.
Then he proceeded to give me a quote for a new motor.

So... I paid $80 plus taxes for him to do something I had already done????
How does he know it needs a new motor? How does he know it's not some part that is misplaced or detached?

When it was time to pay, I tried to tap my card and he ripped the machine away from me, pulled the card out of my hand and did it himself. He was borderline aggressive.

I called your customer service only to hear that this is how it's done. This is SO frustrating. I've never been so rudely treated in my life, and I'm latina! I'm used to being ill-treated and yelled at.

Terrible, terrible experience.

This company is a very bad company.
I am a contractor and I contacted the A Team Appliance Repair to replace an oven door for a client.
The technician took the oven door and a 400 dollars deposit.
The company told me it would take 5 business days. After 6 business days the door was still not ready. I talked to their accountant and was told to give them another 5 business days if the door is not installed I would get a full refund which I did. Today is 10 business days and I am told by Rebecca that that the door is still not ready and if I wanted a refund and the old oven door returned then I would only get 196.00 dollars back and the door would be returned this Wednesday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
I will be contacting my business lawyer for breach of contract and possibly the police if this company is doing fraudulent business practices.

Anybody can share the experience of how can get money back???

The dryer in my rental condo was reported not working on Feb17th. I called Oshawa number and agreed to pay basic cost of $80 +tax for checking. A technician (phone# 647 xxx 0311) was sent there. After brief checking, he said I had to pay $205+tax (total $285+tax) for further checking. I paid then I was told the control board needed to be replaced which costed $591 +tax. I refused.

The next day, another technician who was referred by my friend spent less than 5 minutes spotting the problem and fixed it only with total cost $60+$20+tax!

I sent complain to the company and no response.

SCAMMERS!!!! Wish I had done my research here before calling these scammers. What I thought were valid reviews were on their website. STAY AWAY from “A Team Appliance” be aware they go by different names.
Washing machine was not spinning. Technician told me it just needed an adjustment and could have it fixed for $327. Within 10 minutes, he told me it was fixed, tested and did not require any parts. I paid him and as he’s stepping out the door he asked me not to use the washer for 3 hours to let the adjustment settle(that should have been my first clue I was being scammed). When I tested the machine, the spin cycle wasn’t working. I called customer service, I was told I needed a drum assembly and it would cost me an additional $1400. Sound familiar?? I lost it on them over the phone! They say it’s $80 for a diagnostic but they actually scam you into thinking it’s fixed and make you pay $327. After several attempts to talk to their customer service to try and sort it out…they hang up on or put me on hold until you hang up, and then they just don’t answer.

How are these people still in business????? Hope something can be done. This should NOT be happening.

I was also recently scammed for the technician fixing my washer. He spent 20 minutes assessing the problem and guaranteed me that it would be fixed. He quoted me 290 and then worked on it for 20 mins. When he was collecting the payment, he told me that it would work in a couple hours after the computer resets. And that he actually wouldn’t be able to fix the door and then it would actually cost $1500 in parts to fix and which I said if you were honest about the cost upfront, I would not have paid for him to go ahead with the service turns out that he didn’t even fix anything . Luckily, I did not pay the bill and I will have to argue it with collections. Additionally, I tried to leave a review on their website for one star and it changed my review to five stars.

I reported this company to the Better Business Bureau and they were not contacting them back so I lost money. My fridge is still broke because of the scammers and I had to buy a new fridge. How can we get our money back?

Wish I had read reviews that were not on their website, as all the ones on it are fake. Terrible service! They wouldn’t even look at my fridge without me paying over $300. Then they were unable to fix it and offered to charge me $1400 for a part that is already under warranty by LG. Despite several requests for a refund, I was shut down. When I tried to post a review on their website , they changed my one star review to a 5 and limited my comments. Do not trust them!!
