I have no good words about T brown. They lie about attending, (Doorbell cameras see all!!) Not the first time I have experienced this either. They don't carry common fault parts, their repairs are inefficient and don't last, Their customer relations leave a lot to be desired, you get a 6 to 7 hour window meaning you generally have to just wait for them to show as they never call ahead even if you request it so that you would not have to take a day out of work and lose pay.(something a bit off there, maybe because they never intended to show up) I really don't understand how this company is still operating, their customer service is from a different era.

I didn’t choose to use this company. They were forced upon us by Peabody.
3 visits and the same result each time. We need to order new parts, triggers broom ring any bells???
My elderly mother and 3 siblings with adult learning disability’s have been left for a week without heating with temperatures as they have been.
On visit 1 of three they handed over 3 small electric heaters for a 4 bedroom townhouse. When you try and get a decent response as to why this is happening they hide behind parts delivery times. Obviously we are in the age where there are no parts supply companies in the UKs capital city that you can drive to. They haven’t exactly explained why it has taken 3 different ‘Engineers’ to work out why 1 boiler isn’t working.
On the upside I can make a complaint by email, useful in the current circumstances where the issue isn’t resolved. Or I can call and speak to the repairs team, but I can’t as all of their lines are busy and the customer contact team will send them a message to get in contact with me ‘normally within 24 hours’
When pushed about the awful service, and I do mean pushed, they said I could have a manager callback about my complaint, also ‘normally within 24 hours’
Basically avoid using them unless your favourite past times are:
- Waiting on hold on the phone
- Being Given the run around
- Not actually getting a boiler fixed in a timely manner
I will of course update this review whenever there is a resolution.

"I have been waiting the entire day and…"
I have been waiting the entire day and night, repeatedly requesting an engineer to come. I have been calling every few hours to ensure the engineer's arrival. However, on multiple occasions, I have experienced situations where the engineer has too many jobs and fails to reach the next customer. Instead of rescheduling or communicating the delay, they falsely mark the visit as "no access to the building."
This has happened to me several times before, and an honest engineer previously admitted that this is a common practice.
If anything happens to me tonight due to the lack of hot water and heating—especially with a small child at home—T Brown will be held responsible.

"disgraceful company"
disgraceful company. Put's people's life's at risk, lie, don't turn up to do work, turn up when there's no appointment, fix boiler only for it to break, just over 24hrs later. Don't care less about people. I wouldn't even give them one star. I've noticed they just give same old response in their reply's to reviews. Fixed boiler on Friday at around 10.40 pm broke Sunday around 2.45pm. refused to come out to fix it today. Left me no heating and hot water. I need to wash body parts often because of infection. I'm a very ill person. No care at all from the guy I spoke to today and a total jobs worth. You messed up but you don't want to send anyone out. Leave me with no heat and no hot water. If your staff done their job right I wouldn't be in this mess. What goes around comes around and I hope and pray it comes around 40 times worse for you all. Was meant to get a call tonight but that didn't happen. Don't wipe their feet when coming in even when raining. Banging banging my letter box because staff member thought he left took bag at my home. Engineer fixed Friday night, and another guy turns up Saturday at around 5om to fix boiler. When already fixed. So showing they don't know what their doing. Last week they didn't do my brother yearly check right. This is 2nd time they went to his home. First time they left gas leak. Heartless people.

They could stop lying about attending. Taking a photograph of your door is proof of them taking a photograph of your door and nothing else. I've been without heating and hot water for 3 days now for a broken down boiler that was only fitted 3 months ago.
It's shocking that they are still being contracted when their performance is so poor.

"Gas annual safety check attended my…"
Gas annual safety check attended my house yesterday and didn’t close the valve of my gas meter entry box, left me with a gas leak for over 24 hours before I realised the box is 3 meters from my oven I cooked this morning with my 12 year old son and 3 year old daughter on-site, the engineer was on a personal call the whole service no wonder he left the valve undone. He seriously endangered mine and my children’s lives and I cannot complain to Lambeth council or directly to t brown this is highly disturbing

Worst company. They lie and lie and make one feel miserable. How can a company like t brown still allowed to operate when they do not care and hold no integrity in what they stand for...So much poor reviews and complaints, yet nothing is being done to shut down t brown. Why is the councils contracting t brown when all they do is make people's life so miserable, why???

Jokers. I have waited in for two days for these. I was told they would be out Monday, then Tuesday, now its Wednesday. Bloody joke.
Not happy. My boiler is broken, and it's January.

0 stars. 5 appointments booked, no show. 20/12/2024. 6/1/2025.7/1/2035.8/1/2025....13/1/2025 (waitting for them from 10am to 8pm)......cheap Company, unreliable, incompetent contractors. It is Wasting time with them.
