Aon processed our claim. They requested significant abilities to do so, including a medical information release claim request and a signed document from a doctor. It was onerous. But they did refund us right after all the paperwork was complete. They provide a legitimate service.

We had to cancel our birthday cruise because I had been sick ever since my surgery 4 months prior. I was afraid to get on an airplane and then cruise ship because I seemed to catch everything that came near me. I had been on antibiotics 3 times in 2 months. I expected Aon to fight me on the reimbursement since I didn't have one specific emergency medical situation that caused the cancel. Instead, they paid the claim without argument. I had to submit a form from the doctor, but it was accepted and not questioned. I was very pleasantly surprised.

The online links didn't do what they were supposed to do so we had to call the 800 # but once we got a rep she was very helpful and thorough. Everything was completed in the time frame she quoted and the cruise refund was fast.

The claim process was a little labor intensive (having to scan all the documentation and then attach to the claim online) but I finally figured it out. It was processed pretty quickly and I was happy with the result. I would have liked a breakdown of how the amount was determined because the amount I received was kind of an odd amount.
