"Appalling customer service"
I can only agree with the other 1 star reviews-appalling customer service. I purchased a gift for my sister for christmas which she has been unable to register. She was told to delete the app and reinstall...still no joy. 12 emails later I was told the subscription had been cancelled and I had been refunded-this was after sending proof of purchase, customer no etc. When asked what date the refund had been sent a different tack was used. I am now awaiting a cheque (who uses cheques these days??) but going by other reviews I am not holding my breath. DO NOT USE
Update 17/02: Despite the response saying this had been investigated and to make contact-no reply to my email!! I have, however, had a refund at last

"Just rubbish"
Just rubbish, tried 3 times on different dates to place an order online, on first 2 attempts would not accept any payment, on 3rd attempt again would not accept credit card so paid by debit card, said it was accepted then got an email to say it had failed. Finally had to place order by telephone which was straightforward at least, just wait to see if we get any magazines.

MEN.. nu er det umuligt at komme ud af..
Jeg har skrevet med deres bogholderi flere gange og jeg får samme sang hvergang, - at de vil gøre hvad de kan, kommer med sidste leverings datoer, osv..
Men vi er nu på andet år hvor de beklager De er kommet til at hæve på min konto, at refundere er desværre..! IKKE en mulighed..
Abonnement tegnet over nettet kan en dansk bank ikke stoppe, skift af visa kortet er heller ikke en mulighed..
DET FRARÅDES på det kraftigste at tegne abonnement !!

"APALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE"
I wish I had read the reviews before placing an order for print copies as a Xmas gift for someone. The system changed the order to digital and the recipient doesn't use a computer or mobile phone. After numerous emails and 19 long phone calls they changed it but reduced the number of copies that will be sent as "some had already been read". PLEASE DONOT USE THIS COMPANY.

"Avoid offshore scammers"
Bought gift for relative site unclear £40 per annum however this was digital only format Once mislead I promptly purchased paper copy and asked for refund as digital had weeks to start on several & not due to start in correspondence they lied and different representative’s with ignorant replies o ownership
Jessa jona neither listened to the facts taking no ownership their replies clearly show no focus of relevant facts
Avoid if no stars were available I would be generous

Nothing much to be said. Ignorant no customer service. Refuse to give a credit that I claimed.
DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY AT ALL OR YOU JOIN THE LINE OF CLIENTS DISSATISFIED BEING A POOR CLIENTS OF THEIRS.

"Failed delivery"
In mid-June, I ordered half a year´s subscription on Motorcycle News as a present for my husband - we live in Denmark. The first issues were considerably delayed. By the end of July, we had only received a single issue. After a complaint, the issues started to arrive fairly regularly, with one or two never turning up. Until the second half of October, when they stopped coming altogether. Sixteen e-mails between the company (Bauer) and us later, the problem is still not solved. The problem may lie with the Danish distributor, but nothing happens. I would not recommend subscribing to any of "Great magazines" products.

"Avoid this company"
I ordered a subscription for paper copies of Landscape magazine over a month ago. I never received the first copy even though the payment (inc a charge for a digital copy I didn’t order) was taken by direct debit from my bank account. I have tried to contact customer service by online messaging but so far no response. The landline number is not working so I’ve cancelled my direct debit and hopefully no further payments will be taken.

"They will steal your money"
I signed up to these without first reading reviews. Luckily for me the day after I signed for a subscription I read the reviews on here & on FB & decided it wasn't worth the risk so I emailed them telling to cancel the subscription & the DD that very next day. Had an email back saying that I should contact them again once the first DD was taken & they would then be able to cancel the subscription. If this happens to anybody else, just login to your bank & cancel the DD they will have set up (regardless if they have taken any money or not. I'm thankful for the other reviews warning me and I can confirm DO NOT DEAL with this lot. I guarantee it will cause you nothing but problems. In the end I signed up with newstand.co.uk for a subscription on the Friday & the magazine was delivered the very next day. Highly recommend them.

"Unreal"
Unreal. I paid the intro price to read an issue of Empire thinking I’d just cancel my subscription afterwards. Apparently, there is no way to cancel the a subscription without first reaching out to the company. Once I reached out I was told I am locked in for a year and I’m unable to cancel for 12 months! I’ve never heard of such a thing. Wow. Talk about a scam.
I feel bad that the last of print media is represented by a such an unscrupulous business. If you’re thinking about doing any business with this company, just don’t.
