Joke of a service. Very hard to cancel. Some of the issues didn’t even arrive. I thoroughly suggest you find somewhere legitimate instead of this semi scam of a site.

"Not sending magazines although I have paid."
Been getting a magazine from them for some time. Suddenly even though all monthly payments have been received by them and have contacted by email and they admit they are wrong still have not received last two weeks magazines. Have written again and hope I get a result.

"Awful customer service"
Awful customer service. They don't read your emails properly for a start. I've been trying for nearly a month to get them to understand that I can't register a gift subscription of a magazine to my email address as I have an old inactive one registered and they need to remove this first. They also seem to take the proverbial when using Tesco vouchers - they charged £63 for a digital only subscription with Tesco vouchers when it usually costs £63 for a digital and print subscription when you pay with cash/direct debit. Joke of a company.

"Appalling customer care - be very wary of taking out a subscription"
Shockingly poor customer service from Bauer Media. Mojo and Empire, both great magazines which are plugging their, on the face of it, very good VIP memberships are sadly being let down by Bauer’s incompetence and general lack of concern for customer experience. My Mojo VIP subscription was set up and then within 4 days, digital access ceased and I was presented with the invitation to subscribe. Customer Service absolutely no help. Empire was even worse - confirmation of order received and then digital access ceased within 2 days - this time Customer Service claimed there was no record of an order. So no VIP membership for me and no revenue for Mojo and Empire - back to reading copies on my local library app.

"Really bad customer services"
Really bad customer services. They have no interest in helping.

"A truly abominable service....."
Just wanted to buy the most recent copy of Empire online due the fact that it's scarcely found in newsagents or supermarkets these days.......
i) Placed the order on Saturday and was informed that I would receive a confirmation email within 24 hours which never arrived...
ii) Followed up with a phone call on Tuesday and was told that the staff member would chase the aforesaid email but that would take another 24-48hrs. Couldn't just send an email on the phone...
ii) Then told that the magazine would take 7-10 working days to arrive ( Amazon delivers in 24hrs!)
iii) Actually found myself in the same situation a few months with this company and my purchase ultimately took one month ( !!!!) to arrive.
With the magazine industry on its last legs this level of service is just accelerating its demise....

"Do not use this company"
Do not use this company I asked to cancel my subscription and a refund of my balance as the TV magazine I had paid for should have reached me on a Thursday, in fact it has been arriving the following Wednesday, so I have had to buy another magazine to cover the days it does not arrive. Customer service wanted to cancel all outstanding issues but with no refund. I know they are let down by Royal Mail but it should be down to them to make sure I receive the copy why still in date.

"Nothing received"
Signed up to MCN as I would love to have it delivered every week, so far not a single issue has even arrived, nevermind late. Will cancel asap

"A new low in customer service"
Took out a subscription to Country Walking Magazine in order to get the OS Maps discount which is now not available due to a discreet change to the T’s & C’s. Incredibly unhelpful and unsympathetic but astute enough to try and lock me into a recurring subscription so I followed the complaints procedure and am now being ignored. Tried ringing and the poor staff just don’t understand what I’m trying to tell them. I would suggest that you avoid this company like the plague.

"SCAM Charged three times in 9 days"
I ordered a single digital issue last week and didn't receive it as the site was down for maintenance. I was charged 99p but haven't had access to the issue.
The moment the site come back up though I was charged a second time for £3.99. The site is saying that I was only charged 99p but bank statements and emails say otherwise. Not happy. Also, the site isn't clear on how to cancel subscriptions. Though how you're meant to do that when the site is down anyway, I have no idea.
Just avoid them, don't bother. Better to make the trip to the shop to get the issue you want.
*UPDATE* It gets worse; now being told that I can't cancel as they signed me up for a 12-month sub instead of the single issue I selected on checkout. This is actively going against consumer laws given there's a 14-day minimum grace period and they were contacted well within that time range. Had to go through my bank to cancel further payments and will have to contact them again to dispute the charges for something I haven't got access to.
*UPDATE 2.0* Charged me again 3 days later whilst claiming they refunded me for 1 of the charges. I have the bank statements that say otherwise. SCAM ARTISTS!
