I was supplied with a new VW Tiguan by ALD in Mid January 2025. I have had a couple of issues with the vehicle - all reported to my local dealer under warranty. However a more serious issue is the battery is randomly going flat - now mid-April and have had 2 call outs from VW assistance to get me started. Both engineers and the local dealer have told me a "software update" is due and when available they will ask me to bring my vehicle in, but in the meantime will not tell me what is causing the fault as VW have advised they should not. Basically at present the vehicle is not fit for purpose , VW refuse to speak to me as am not the vehicle owner, ALD are. My complaint with ALD after 3 weeks has not been allocated and having spoken to their "helpdesk" nobody will engage with me - in the meantime I await the next breakdown. ALD should deal with this as apriority and take up with VW.

I leased a used Volvo XC40 PHEV hybrid through NHS fleet, for two years, and the car was in good condition throughout. I had to replace a flat tire a few times, always getting it done at Kwik Fit, where they have a partnership and it was so easy and convenient. The engine and battery performed flawlessly, and assistance was always prompt when phoned them . The collection process was smooth and hassle-free. Overall, I had a fantastic experience with ALD—a great team!

"Limited Direct Debit Payment Date Options"
Have had a vehicle on lease since August 2024. All has been smooth so far with the only point worth mentioning that the direct debit payment date can only be selected from about 3 dates in the month. All of our other bills come out on the 1st, however that is not one of the available options ALD give you, meaning we have a random payment taken in the middle of each month. Not a major issue but certainly an inconvenience worth knowing about if this matters to you in any way. Not aware of any other company that imposes such a restriction

Really personable and efficient customer service teams throughout the 4-year lease of my Tesla Model 3. They supported the contract well to arrange servicing, tyres, window repairs and MOT. Onboarding was very quick and with clear processes for leasing and service plans. An overall faultless experience - thanks ALD!

"Absolutely refuse to renew my road tax…"
Absolutely refuse to renew my road tax early. By law road tax can be renewed upto 2 months before. As a customer all I asked is for you to tax my vehicle in March so I can could save £200 in road tax. Very poor customer service

When I heard the telephone response going into 7 options, I was beginning to lose heart, but when I pressed the number 7 it was answered immediately. She helped me to gather the information i needed, and reassured me that she would initiate the appropriate service. The whole transaction was quick, efficient and most helpful.
