"A great Easter chalet holiday in St Anton"

We had a fabulous family ski holiday with Inghams this Easter enjoying the last of the snow and the spring conditions! Booking and travel all went very smoothly and we had a great stay at one of Ingham’s chalets in St Anton with our 7 & 9 year old. We loved being so close to the resort centre and it was really handy being able to leave our kit at the rental shop next to the lift. The chalet was spacious and comfortable with great food and wine and the perfect set up for 2 families sharing. The service from the team in St Anton was really good and we found the daily WhatsApp tips really helpful.

"Great ski holiday in val d'isere "

We are just back from a great holiday at Ducs de Savoie chalet hotel in val d'isere. The standout was the quality of the evening food. Well organised travel arrangements. Friendly staff. Hotel fine but a bit tired, but I understand will not be used by Inghams next year. All in all cert good value.

"Adequate, holiday saved by hotel staff and ski instructors"

Youngest daughter was put into the wrong ski school and was bored (we only found this out on the last day). Very poor availability of staff at resort. Assistance with young children in the morning getting to ski school did not happen and our seats on the flight home were cancelled. Inghams rep tried to move us aside at check-in, but thankfully the airport staff insisted they sort our problem and got us on the aircraft.

"Last day disaster"

Everything was great up until the day of my return; the booking, the accommodation, the rep at the airport and in resort all excellent. But on the return day we were made to leave resort before seven to arrive at the airport two hours before we could check in. Missed breakfast at the hotel which we could easily have had in the time available and still got to the airport in plenty of time. Seriously angry about being so badly treated and all because, I believe, it was the rep’s last day in resort and she wanted us out as soon as so she could go home sooner. We were put out for her convenience. Complete lack of customer service!

"Outstanding"

Outstanding! From the moment I made the enquiries about booking a week skiing to when we returned last night, Inghams were superb. They answered all my questions pre and after booking and we’ve just returned from a fabulous week in the snow. The in resort rep, Nesta, made contact before we arrived to see if she could get anything for our apartment and also arranged the hotel to set up the bedrooms as we wanted. She was in touch with us every day and was very quick to respond if we had a question. The accommodation exceeded our expectations and we kept commenting that this was the most stress free ski holiday we’d ever been on. Thank you, Inghams. Thank you to all your staff from the one who spoke to me at my initial call right through to leaving the airport yesterday evening. You even laid on great weather for us, too! 10/10

"Chalet Chloe in Val Thorens was great!"

Chalet Chloe was great! A lovely way to spend my birthday with my family.

Millie was exceptional. We've experienced chalet hosts before, but Millie managed everything exceptionally well. She was never flustered cooking for a large group and her cakes were incredible. She built an instant rapport with all of us, especially the kids. Our eldest now wears a flower clip in her hair thanks to Millie.

We came in the 1st week of April. The snow conditions were good, but slushy from midday even at the peaks. There were next to no queues, and the service on the mountain was really friendly. We made an effort to speak French and apologised for the country's Brexit vote.

Our kids were in Prosneige ski school (5 and 2). The school was great too. It was the first time skiing for both of ours and the instructors were incredibly patient and supportive. The school is a little hard to find on the bus - the stop is Plein Sud.

We had a wonderful meal at Auberges de Balcons. Our waiter Anthony was great with both kids.

Lastly, Melodie and Jonathan at Intersport de les Balcons were terrific. I'd highly recommend renting/boot fitting with them, especially if you're staying at Chalet Chloe.

A couple of suggestions for the chalet: the pillows aren't good and the steam room wasn't working.

Hotel chalet Ducs de Savoie Val D’Isère. 15 March 2025.
Generally excellent from the staff to the rooms. Flights and transfers easy and comfortable. The chalet / hotel was well maintained and the food and wine were excellent.
Special shout out to the staff they really looked after us. Understand this is the last season for this chalet/hotel which is a real shame.
